Äntligen framme! / Finally here!
Paulina & Sanna @ Miami AirportSå är jag ÄNTLIGEN framme i Bogotá!!! Efter diverse förseningar och 1 1/2 timme spenderad på Miamis flygplats letande efter shutteln till hotellet! Allvarligt talat - det kan vara den minst informativa flyplats jag någonsin varit på (inkluderat Dhaka). Sedan har de även lyckats med att slarva bort vårt bagage som ännu inte har kommit fram... suck. Detta betyder att jag är nu inne på snart det tredje dygnet i samma kläder.
Hur som helst. Det är fantastiskt skönt att vara här och Bogotá är sig ganska likt får jag säga. Det luktar likadant, regnar likadant och bergen är lika vackra inhöljda i dimma som de var för två år sedan!

I'm FINALLY here, in Bogotá!!! After a series of delays and 1 1/2 hours spent at Miami Airport looking for the hotel shuttel! Seriously - it might be the least informative airport I've ever been at (including Dhaka). Following this, they've managed to lose our luggage, which still hasn't arrived... oh well. This means that I have now spent more than 48 hours in the same clothes.
Anyways. It absolutely fantastic being here and Bogotá is pretty much the same. It smells the same, rains the same and the mountains emerging in the fog are as beautiful as they were two years ago!

Vår! /Spring time!
Det finns vissa fördelar med att vara kvar i Sverige ett litet tag till: lyckan över att få ta på sig vårskorna för första gången på evigheter är svår att slå! Och krokusar i vårsolen är inte helt fel det heller.
Snart bär det av till landet utan årstider...
There are some definite perks to having to stay on in Sweden for a little while longer: the joy of the first day in sneakers is hard to beat! And spring flowers aren't that bad either.
Soon I'll be off to the land of no seasons...

Den som väntar på något gott... / Good things will come to those who wait...
... väntar ALLDELES för länge! På grund av visumproblem (och en olägligt placerad påskhelg) har vår avresa blivit uppskjuten till den 28e mars.
Under tiden springer jag runt som en yr höna och försöker att hitta livsnödvändigheter som pannlampa, vandrarsandaler (jag vet att de är kriminellt fula, men vad ska man göra?!) och fundera ut vad jag ska ta med mig för att muta de nya kollegorna i Colombia - knäckebröd, saltlakrits, lösgodis, mjölkchoklad, lingonsylt eller kanske kaviar?

... and hopefully to me too, SOON! Due to visa issues (and a very untimely Easter), our departure has been postponed until 28th of March.
Meanwhile, I'm running around like a headless chicken, trying to find necessities like a head light and trekking sandals (yes, they are criminally ugly, but what is a woman to do?) and trying to figure out what to bring as a bribe for the new colleagues in Colombia - hard bread, salt liqorice, mixed swedish candy, milk chocolate, lingonberry jam or maybe the Swedish atrocity known as "kaviar" (which really has nothing to to with real caviar)?
